Children and Social Work Bill

The Children and Social Work Bill was debated by Parliament in 2016-17.

RMCC briefings on the Bill included the following:

  • a proposed amendment on care planning for the permanence and stability of migrant and asylum-seeking children in care
  • a briefing on the impact of changes to leaving care provisions on former asylum-seeking young people.
